Biographical Statement
Phil Landesberg, Founder and President of Miles2Go Seminars and Consulting, is an educator, writer, trainer and consultant who helps individuals and organizations achieve better long-term results.
Phil bases his training and consulting on experience gained during a 32-year career as a civil servant in the Department of the Navy and his ongoing research. Over the course of his public service he served in as a Program Manager, Division Director, senior management advisor, supervisor, project engineer, trainer, team leader and logistics manager. These roles provided valuable insights, experiences and perspectives for leading people and managing processes and programs.
Phil has been a leader in several professional associations, seving as president of the Washington, DC and Harrisburg, PA chapters of the Association for Quality & Participation and as a director of the Washington Deming Study Group and Keystone Regional Professional Alliance.
While working in the Navy, he had the opportunity to learn from Dr. W. Edwards Deming and associates of Dr. Deming including Peter Scholtes, Heero Hacquebord and Dr. Ed Baker. This learning opportunity and an interest in finding innovative approaches to current business and public sector management issues provides the basis for his ongoing research.
